Meeting agenda

1. Welcome and Introduction to the BCA
2. Brightwood Updates - Caring for our neighbors; Covid rates; and Census 2020.
3. Invited Agency reports - Mayor's Office on Community Relations; Councilmember Todd's Office; State Board of Education Ward 4 Representative; ANC 4a.
4. MPD - Captain Porter of the 4th District has agreed to come and discuss in particular the recent crimes in the neighborhood, including robbery incidents around 13th/Piney Branch/Sheridan are as well as robbery and vehicle crimes around 14th and Whittier.
5. Special topic - We will have a discussion on the proposed relocation of Crossing Place, an 8-bed crisis house/short-term residential facility for persons facing mental health crises, to the Brightwood neighborhood. ANC 4a04 Commissioner Patience Singleton has been invited to present.
6. Announcements - Clean Up Day; next meeting date; and Ledo gift card giveaway!
