The Brightwood Community Association is excited to announce that we will be holding a food drive to support our neighborhood food pantry. Help feed your neighbors during this time of need! Your BCA board has offered to pick up and deliver your donation to make it as easy as possible! Or you can deliver you donation directly to the Emory Beacon of Light Food Pantry Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm.

During the pandemic, demand at the food pantry has more than doubled to about 200 families each week. Please support the BCA's food drive to help restock the shelves at Emory. Every donation makes a difference.
Needed items include:
Canned Goods: tuna and meats, soups, vegetables, fruit, and milk.
Dry Goods: Past, beans, hot cereals (e.g. oatmeal packets) and cold cereals
Noodles: Ramen style noodles in cups are helpful especially for the homeless
You can also drop off your donation Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm at Emory Beacon of Light Food Pantry, 6100 Georgia Ave NW, Washington, D.C.
