The Upper Georgia Avenue Main Street will host an online presentation of the recently completed Retail Analysis of Upper Georgia Avenue - from Missouri Avenue to Eastern Avenue. This survey was completed by Jon Stover & Associates, a local firm dedicated to building a stronger community of small businesses throughout the city. The survey was was funded by a grant from the Department of Small and Local Business Development. Parts of Luzon Ave, many 1500 blocks and everyone east of 16th St currently has NO ONE running to be their ANC Commissioner. All you need to do is file your candidacy documents today, collect 10 signatures from your neighbors and turn it in by August 5. Brightwood is an awesome neighborhood with great residents but we are NOT getting our fair share of resources if we don't fill out the census. Brightwood's response rate is one of the lowest among our surrounding neighborhoods but it's one of the easiest ways to ensure that we get the Federal and local resources we need.
